COMPLAINT PROCEDURE CODE: 8026
The desire of the board is that all complaints be resolved at the lowest possible echelon. All complaints should be channeled through the following personnel prior to being brought to the board:
*Appointments for complaints about Teacher should always be made with the Principal of school.
1. Teacher (Parent must schedule appointment through office.)
2. Principal (If meeting with Teacher is unsatisfactory, a meeting with Teacher and Principal must be scheduled.)
3. Supervisor (If meeting with Principal and Teacher still meets unsatisfactory status with Parent, a meeting must be scheduled with immediate supervisor.)
If after the above procedure has been followed, there is still a complaint, the matter will be referred to a GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE composed of the following:
*There will be a form made available to Parent/Guardian at this stage to fill out and sign.
5. Director of HR Designee
If the GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE cannot resolve the problem, then the matter may be referred to the Board for final action.
